disgustingly draped over lost songs,
devotion lays broken on the ground,
singing voices turned to screaming,
sadly, only humans can say please,
blinded, we right our wrongs,
we've stolen what should be found,
mistaking horror for dreaming,
'so tell me... was the ivory worth killing me?'

The night sky had just full filled its duty of giving me its moon's dim light for me. I walked carefully on the tar road, dust clouds flew past my hood covered head. In 100 degree weather, the smartest thing to do would be to be in shorts and a tank top. But a girl like a me would wear a hoodie with its hood on her head and ripped jean capris with a scarf covering my pale neck along with yellow headphones. I pushed my thoughts to the side and squinted when I heard motorcycles int eh distance. I quickened my pace to see what all the problem was. As I got closer, I heard a sound of someone struggling.

The inspiration behind this is of course very important! The world is about to lose these incredible creatures if we aren't careful. However, I feel that there is a lot of versatility to this poem we well. I get the feeling of an overall loss of something-anything! Precious species, or a personal passion, anything! I love it!
